The Big Bang Theory gifts Would Works Cocktail Boards to cast and crew
Are you a fan of the TV show The Big Bang Theory? This holiday season the cast and crew of the show all received a Would Works Cocktail Board as a holiday gift from the show’s producers.
The Big Bang Theory’s producer Faye Oshima Belyeu discovered Would Works in our LA Times feature from August of 2013. She was impressed with the organization and thought it would be a gift with a purpose for the cast and crew of The Big Bang Theory. We were excited to collaborate with Faye and her team to make this happen.
We were busy for a few weeks to prep for one of our largest orders yet.We created a custom brand with The Big Bang Theory logo for our Cocktail Boards. Our artisans also attached a holiday greeting tag to each board.
This collaboration proved to be a great opportunity for our Would Works artisans. They loved knowing that each board they finished would be going as a gift to someone in the Hollywood entertainment industry.
It was such a pleasure working with Connor and his team for our holiday crew gift. They were organized, timely, and committed to perfectly crafting each and every cutting board for all 200+ people on our staff. Not only was it an amazing gift, but the story behind each gift is why we would recommend Would Works to everyone!

For our artisans, the idea that someone will see the work they do is really important. It gives them pride and increases their self-esteem because they know their work matters.

A Look Into Our Transformative 2023
Winding down this year, we express deep gratitude for your support and engagement with Would Works. 2023 began expansively: WW Community Builders Program Artisans and our team took a field trip to the snow-covered Angeles National Forest in the San Gabriel Mountains north of the city. Shirley is the Artisan Lead at Would Works and was born and raised in LA. She’s now in her mid-60’s, yet she’s never been up to the Angeles Forest. Our city is surrounded by abundant landscapes, but many residents who face barriers to employment also lack access to experiences in nature. This forest visit reflects the growth trajectory of Would Works, which we illuminate here.
