WWCC - Intro to Tool Making (Hammer) Workshop

Take the first step towards building your own handcrafted kit of essential tools with this Intro to Tool Making Workshop. This class will introduce students to making their own tried and true hammer from a solid piece of hardwood and steel head.

Students will learn how to safely cut the handle on a bandsaw then hand shape final details with a spokeshave, rasps and files. A lesson on sanding and finishing will complete the class. Each student will go home with their own handmade hammer at the end of class!
